An easy recipe that is refreshing and banishes belly bloat

The Flat Belly Water recipe is so simple to make, refreshing and an awesome way to flavor up your water. After a few days of drinking this water you’ll feel refreshed and your tummy will thank you for it!
It’s easy to want something fruity or bubbly… but keep this in mind; it all makes your belly puff out and that is not a cute look for your bikini! So ditch the soda and pina coladas and pour yourself a tall glass of Flat Belly Water! Spruce it up like a mocktail!
Ingredients for 2 quarts (half a gallon):
- 1 tsp. grated Ginger Root
- 1 Lemon
- 12+ Mint Leaves
- 1 Cucumber (half of a big one)
- 2 quarts of water
Thinly slice the lemon and cucumber and put into a pitcher. Add 1 tsp. of finely grated ginger to the pitcher. Add 12 Mint leaves and then pour in the water. Stir and put in the fridge overnight. It will be ready to drink in the morning.
Drink as much as possible throughout the day and avoid processed foods and other sugary/bubbly drinks.
Benefits of these ingredients in your water
Cucumber: Sliced cucumber in your water has great nutritional benefits. The longer it is in the water, more nutrients will enter the water. It tastes refreshing and gives a nice flavor to water. Nutrients such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Iron, Calcium and potassium. Water your garden with any unused water after 2 days (make a fresh batch!).
Ginger Root: It calms and soothes the GI tract. Think about it, your GI tract takes a beating every single day from all the good, bad and ugly foods we eat. Ginger root aids in digestion and breaks down fatty acids in the digestive system. Feeling puffy and bloated… adding ginger root will help break down proteins and help reduce bloating.
Lemon: Lemon water has many benefits!!! Read about them here. For the purpose of this drink the lemon adds flavor and helps with digestion. It boosts metabolism and balances pH levels. It also prevents the formation of free radicals so it’s an excellent remedy for a hangover.
Mint Leaves: Help eliminate toxins from the body. If taken in daily (like you should be with this drink) it can help remove bacteria and fungus from the body. It also gives the drink a very refreshing taste
